Great green luscious gardens; ponds and landscaping are the first thing most visitors to the Home & Landscape Show usually notice.  You can smell samples of spring and see outdoor kitchens, gorgeous landscaping displays, paving designs, patios and more when you walk the aisles of the spacious Morristown Armory.
Take part in “The Peoples Choice Award”, a favorite part of the event. Attendees vote for their favorite Landscaped Garden presentation from among the many beautifully designed displays. Leading designers use imaginative aspects to showcase their unique displays. Including Bubbling Fountains, Tranquil WaterFalls, and Rock Ponds complete with Koi Fish, Intricate Paving Stone designs, Lighting and Outdoor Kitchen and Entertainment Areas.

2009 contest proved to be the closest ever. All of the feature displays were eye catching. Winners were Michele and George Mangiarocina, owners of Rockledge Nursery and Water Garden Center, in Blairstown, NJ and Clay Graba, owner of A Frog’s Dream Aquatic Center, in Long Valley.  Their collective efforts produced a beautifully designed paved setting. Complete with lush shrubs decorative greenery and accented with splashes of colorful floral. Visitors were drawn into a center paved area and experienced the comforting sounds of gentle flowing water on both their left and right sides. The flowing water cascaded from an elevated free-formed rock and boulder spillway, emptying gently into Koi filled ponds surrounded by decorative retaining walls. “We wanted to design a space where one could experience a moment of peace and tranquility,” said Michele Mangiarocina of Rockledge Nursery. Clay Graba added,  “We also wanted to show visitors a design flexible enough to accommodate almost any back or front yard.”
Additional contenders for the coveted award included two-time winner Atlantis Water Garden, Collinson Brothers, Finishing Touch, Land Design, BTS Landscape, Sierra Landscape and Canete Landscape.
